Accessories Expert Kimmie Smith is obsessed with what makes an outfit pop whether those baubles are shiny, large, antiqued and more. Living accessories-forward, Kimmie was one of the first Fashion Bloggers back in 2004, and went on to launch daily fashion and Style Magalog, Kitten Lounge, in 2007. Based in NYC, she fuses her unique Accessories Aesthetic with her lead visual merchandising background with Abercrombie & Fitch, Anthropologie, and Lacoste, Kitten Lounge has amassed a following of over 250,000 industry, affluent consumers, and fans.
Kimmie is also a design collaborator with Sebago and HSN personality with over 20 appearances since Spring 2011. She is an official Brand Ambassador for numerous brands, including: Aveeno, Avon, Crest 3D White, Eucerin, Mauboussin, and StriVectin.
She is the Co-Founder and Creative Director of the Ultra Lifestyle Network which has a number of lifestyle properties including Shoe Week, which was created to finally recognize, feature, and celebrate the luxury shoe market in fashion week form. Only a Shoe Fashion Week can truly focus on and honor the top designers and fashion houses in the space. Shoe Week launched during NYFW Sept 2012 with a number of events throughout the city including the Glass Houses and was mentioned recently in Huffington Post Style as well as American Express' Departure International. Shoe Week will return in Sept 2013 during NYFW and Kimmie will present another amazing group of footwear designers that are complimented with accessories and apparel. She also serves as the Creative Director of Mani Week which will launch during Spring 2013.
Kimmie has been inducted into the "Big3" prestigious Fashion Influencer Networks - Cosmopolitan's Beauty, Brains & Blogs; Lucky Mag's Style Spotter; and Vogue's Influencer Network. She is a featured Aha Life curator and was recently added to People's Style Watch Style Hunters.
